Disk stack Centrifuge is a high efficiency, large capacity and advanced automating machinery witch is suitable for the lower suspension liquid and proportion dissolve liquid. It is the essential machinery for Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Bio-products and beverage etc. The principle is based on the centrifugal forces by different liquid proportion force, so it can achieve the separation purpose The Disk Stack Centrifuge superior to the other separator or centrifuge is the advanced automatically system.
The disc stack centrifuge separator is a high speed vertical centrifuge machine. The rotary drum is installed at top of the vertical shaft and is driven by electric motor to rotate at high speed. Inside the drum, there is a set of discs with little gap between discs.
The suspension (or emulsion) is added to the rotary drum through the feed pipe.
When the suspension (or emulsion) passes through the gap between the discs, solid particles (or droplets) settle on the discs under the action of the centrifuge to form sediment (or liquid layers). The sediment slides along the surface of the discs and accumulate in the part of the drum. The separated liquid is discharged from the liquid outlet.
The Disk Stack Centrifuge can be categorize for two type based on the automatically system level.
Model DHC is the fully automatically operation, discharging, running and cleaning by the PLC controller. Another model DRY is the manual discharging which is better for the lower solid content liquid material.
